Congressman Alford Honors 175th Anniversary of Laclede County and Lebanon, Missouri

Washington, DC – On Friday, Congressman Mark Alford (MO-04) introduced a resolution honoring the 175th anniversary of Laclede County and Lebanon, Missouri. On February 24th, 1849, Laclede County, Missouri, and Lebanon, Missouri were officially founded.

In a statement, Congressman Alford highlighted the significance of these communities, stating, "With over 36,000 residents in Laclede County and more than 14,000 in Lebanon, these are vibrant communities that embody the spirit of Missouri and America’s heartland." He also emphasized the importance of the resolution, noting, "This resolution does more than remember a date. It acknowledges the profound contributions of these communities to Missouri's fabric."
