Breona Hurd, a former Waynesville Senior High School star and a current forward for the Virginia Cavaliers, is set to participate in the NCAA Tournament.
The Cavaliers enter the tournament as the No. 10 seed and will face the Arizona State Sun Devils, who are also seeded 10th.
Tip-off for the opening round is scheduled for Thursday, March 19, at 9 p.m. at Carver Hawkeye Arena.
