Lake Regional Health System announced on March 12 that it is expanding its cardiology outreach services to Eldon and Lebanon, starting this month.

The expansion aims to improve access to specialized heart care for residents in these communities. By offering more local options, Lake Regional seeks to help patients manage heart conditions without traveling long distances.

Patience McCoy, ACNP, PhD, will provide cardiology services every Tuesday at Lake Regional Clinic – Eldon. McCoy will also lead the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic there, focusing on monitoring, education, and treatment adjustments for patients with heart failure. The clinic’s goal is to enhance quality of life and reduce hospitalizations for those managing this condition.

Danielle Morrow, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, will now offer cardiology care at Lake Regional’s Lebanon Campus on Mondays and Fridays. Morrow works closely with the health system’s cardiologists to diagnose and treat a range of heart issues so that patients can receive expert care closer to home.

“Access to timely, specialized heart care is essential for the health of our communities,” said Lindsay Bentley, vice president of Medical Group at Lake Regional Health System. “By expanding cardiology services in Eldon and Lebanon, we’re making it easier for patients to receive expert care close to home while continuing to strengthen the network of providers supporting their heart health.”

The Lake Regional cardiology team includes Zubair Khan, M.D., FACC; Muthu Krishnan, M.D., FACC; Madison Rempe, PA-C; along with McCoy and Morrow. They provide comprehensive cardiovascular services such as prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of heart disease.
