Lake Regional Health System announced on Apr. 2 that Taylor Edwards, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, has joined Lake Regional Express Care – Camdenton at 226 E. Highway 54. The clinic offers walk-in care for patients of all ages.

The addition of Edwards is intended to enhance the clinic’s ability to provide convenient medical services in the Camdenton community. As a family nurse practitioner, Edwards treats minor illnesses and injuries such as colds, flu, ear infections, sore throats, minor cuts and abrasions, sprains and strains, skin rashes and seasonal allergies.

“Taylor Edwards brings a strong commitment to compassionate, accessible care,” said Lindsay Bentley, Lake Regional’s vice president of Medical Group. “Her addition enhances our ability to serve the Camdenton community with convenient, walk-in medical services.”

Edwards began her nursing education at Ozarks Technical Community College in Springfield before earning her master’s degree in nursing and family nurse practitioner certification from Chamberlain College of Nursing. A native of Camdenton who was born at Lake Regional Hospital herself, she returned to the area in 2022.

“It is especially meaningful to serve the community that has influenced my journey and to improve patient outcomes when they need care most,” Edwards said. “I am committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and building strong relationships by listening, involving patients in their care and providing clear education.”

Outside work hours, Edwards enjoys spending time with her husband Landon—also from Camdenton—their daughter and pets. She pursues activities like biking and riding ATVs while planning future travel.
