Lake Regional Health System has announced the addition of Haden Kirk, FNP-C, to its Express Care clinic in Lebanon, located at 755 Cowan Drive. Kirk brings nearly ten years of nursing experience to her new role as a family nurse practitioner.

Kirk’s background includes clinical work in acute care, medical-surgical units, emergency departments, skilled nursing facilities and family practice settings. She has held registered nursing positions at CoxHealth in Springfield, St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau and Arkansas Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro. Her responsibilities have included comprehensive patient assessments, medication administration, wound management and collaboration with physicians and advanced practice providers.

Discussing her motivation for entering the field, Kirk stated: “The thing that drew me to my career path was my compassion for caring for people during some of the most vulnerable moments in their lives. It is a rewarding career path, and I will always be grateful for it.”

Kirk earned her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from South University after completing earlier nursing studies at Cox College in Springfield and Waynesville School of Practical Nursing.

Originally from Conway, Missouri, Kirk now lives in Urbana with her husband Colson and their three-year-old child.

“I strive to provide the highest level of care possible and to always exceed patient expectations,” said Kirk. “I look forward to serving patients at Express Care in Lebanon and being part of a team dedicated to quality care.”
