Lake Regional Health System has announced the addition of two new providers at its Eldon campus. Lauren Freeze, FNP-C, and Michael Lewis, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, are joining the team to enhance patient care services in the area.

Freeze will be available for same-day visits at the primary care clinic located at 416 S. Maple St., while Lewis will serve patients at Express Care on 304 E. Fourth St.

Lindsay Bentley, vice president of Lake Regional Medical Group, expressed enthusiasm about the new appointments: “We are pleased to welcome Lauren and Michael to Eldon. These talented providers will increase access to care for area patients who need same-day treatment for minor illnesses and injuries.”

Lauren Freeze hails from Preston, Missouri. Inspired by her father’s work as a family practice physician, she emphasizes open communication with her patients. Her educational background includes studies at Ozarks Technical Community College and Missouri State University, culminating in nursing degrees from Western Governor’s University in Utah.

Michael J. Lewis brings experience from urgent care and primary care settings in Columbia, MO. His career choice was driven by a passion for science and problem-solving. He holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Missouri and a master’s degree from Maryville University in St. Louis.

Lewis resides in Ashland, MO with his wife Corey and their children Oliver and Lily. He is involved in community service and enjoys family activities along with personal projects like restoring his 1964 Triumph TR4.

Both providers aim to improve healthcare access for residents needing prompt attention for minor health issues.
