Lake Regional Health System is now accepting registrations for its two-day Super Sitters child care class. This community program is aimed at babysitters aged 9 to 14 and will take place from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, and Friday, June 13. The class is free and aims to equip young participants with the skills to become confident and prepared babysitters.

During the first day, the participants will gain insights into child development and safety. The curriculum also covers managing mealtime, bath time, bedtime, handling temper tantrums, and ensuring proper discipline. Participants will also learn what makes a successful sitter and delve into the business aspects of babysitting.
