The Lebanon Police Department recognized its 2025 Officer of the Year and Employee of the Year during a work session before the April 13 City Council meeting.

The awards are intended to honor individuals whose work has a significant impact on both the organization and the wider community. Family members, friends, coworkers, and supporters attended as Chief Jerry Harrison announced this year’s recipients, with Lt. Mark Manning presenting the awards.

Officer Shea Dracoules was named Officer of the Year for his professionalism and commitment to service. “Officer Shea Dracoules exemplifies professionalism, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to service for the citizens of Lebanon,” Harrison said. “He is a dedicated public servant and supportive teammate who has earned a reputation of exceptional competence and trust.” Harrison also said, “He performs his duties reliably with calm and skill. His attention to detail and work ethic set the standard.” He added, “He is an asset to our team, displaying our values and earning the community’s trust every day.”

Angela Pollreisz received recognition as Employee of the Year for her contributions as Administrative Assistant. “Angie is a trusted colleague that manages high workloads to serve every member of the LPD efficiently,” Harrison said. He described her as having extensive institutional knowledge along with a willingness to help everyone in nearly any task: “She has extensive institutional knowledge and a ‘we means me’ attitude that drives her to help everyone in the organization with nearly any task.” Harrison further commented on her skills: “Angie displays exceptional organizational skills, efficiency, and discretion in her role.”

Pollreisz supports officers by managing records, communications, administrative functions, while serving as an accessible point of contact for residents.

The department said these recognitions highlight those who keep operations moving forward both in patrol roles out in public as well as behind-the-scenes support.
