Zach Voss, a former standout at Iberia High School, contributed to his Pittsburg State Gorillas’ 8-5 NCAA Division II baseball win over the Central Missouri Mules Saturday, March 14, at 2 p.m.
The matchup was held at Al Ortolani Field and marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. Pittsburg State also took the previous contest Friday, March 13, by a score of 13-4.
On the mound, Voss pitched five innings, yielding four earned runs with three strikeouts and two walks.
The Gorillas are slated to face the Central Missouri Mules again on Sunday, March 15, at 1 p.m. at Al Ortolani Field.
