This critical piece of legislation ensures our military maintains its position as the world's leading fighting force. This year’s NDAA takes substantive steps to deter China in the Indo-Pacific, prioritize the quality of life for our service members, and protect Missouri’s military assets. The House Armed Services Committee is working to align our resources and efforts towards fostering a resilient, robust, and mission-focused military. I’m proud to have voted favorably out of committee and will continue to work with my colleagues as it advances to the House floor.”

Chairman Mike Rogers added: “Rep. Alford’s commitment to providing for our military is resolute,” said Chairman Mike Rogers (R-Ala.). “Since day one, Rep. Alford has worked around the clock to strengthen our military and improve quality for our servicemembers and their families. I thank Rep. Alford for his continued leadership on the House Armed Services Committee.”
