Today, Congressman Mark Alford (MO-04) released a statement following reports of a shooting at President Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
“The heinous act we saw committed today at a rally for President Trump is nothing short of despicable. Political violence has no place here in the United States, the greatest country on Earth. We appreciate the quick action of the Secret Service and other law enforcement officers. We ask everyone to join us in praying for the safety of President Trump and everyone who attended today’s rally. The criminal who carried out this horrible act must be swiftly and strongly brought to justice,” said Congressman Alford.
