Congressman Mark Alford of Missouri's 4th Congressional District has been appointed to four key House Appropriations subcommittees. These include Military Construction-Veteran’s Affairs, Commerce, Justice and Science, Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development, as well as State and Foreign Operations.

“It is an absolute honor to be selected on all four of these subcommittees,” said Alford. “Within these four committees, I have the ability to give Missouri a seat at the table. I will work with my colleagues to allocate a fair share of government funding for Missouri’s Fourth Congressional District while staying committed to ensure transparency and accountability is a part of the process.”

House Committee on Appropriations Chairman Tom Cole expressed his enthusiasm for Alford's appointment. "I am thrilled to announce the appointment of Congressman Mark Alford to these four key subcommittees," he stated. "As a strong advocate for Missouri's conservative values, Rep. Alford has consistently demonstrated his commitment to protecting the interests of Missouri farmers, small business owners, and military personnel. His communication skills will be invaluable in helping Americans navigate the appropriations process and understand its impact on our nation."

Alford reaffirmed his dedication to promoting conservative values within his new roles. “America’s Republican House Appropriations majority is committed to making America great again. I will continue to fight for our conservative Missouri values and bring them to the House Appropriations Committee conversations,” he concluded.
