Lake Regional Health System has announced the addition of Ryan Rogers, MPAS, PA-C, to its gastroenterology team. Rogers will join Kevin Byrne, D.O., Donald Thompson, M.D., and Krista Jones, PA-C at the clinic locations in Osage Beach and Lebanon.
Gastroenterology covers a range of conditions related to the digestive system including the esophagus, stomach, intestines, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts, and liver. Rogers expressed his commitment to improving patients' digestive health as a means to enhance their overall well-being.
“Gastrointestinal issues and poor digestive health can severely affect patients’ quality of life,” said Rogers. “However, early detection of disease can result in better outcomes. Lake Regional is expanding the availability of preventive screening and treatment services locally, and I believe these services will improve lives.”
Rogers hails from Stoutland and values providing care in his home community. “It is enriching to offer services in the community where I was raised,” he noted. “And it’s important to me that area residents have access to the best care.”
With over two decades of healthcare experience under his belt, Rogers holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Missouri State University. His career includes roles in Lake Regional's Emergency Department and Express Care as well as experience in general surgery and gastric disease management across various medical settings. Additionally, he serves as a commissioned officer with the Missouri Army National Guard.
Ryan Rogers resides in Lebanon with his wife Cali and their four children. The family enjoys outdoor activities along with participating in local sports events and school-related functions.
