Community members are invited to attend a free estate planning workshop designed to provide guidance on managing assets and securing their family's future. The event is scheduled for 9-10 a.m. on Friday, July 18, at Café Jude’s located at 116 W. Commercial St., in Lebanon. Attendees will be provided with a light breakfast.

The session is presented in partnership with Central Trust Company and Lake Regional Health Foundation. It will cover important topics such as establishing beneficiaries, the importance of wills and trusts, navigating probate, setting up power of attorney, and incorporating planned giving into one's estate.

Local experts will be available to answer questions and assist attendees in gaining peace of mind about protecting their assets and loved ones. Trenny Garrett, CTFA, J.D., executive vice president & market executive with Central Trust, stated: “This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals and families to learn how simple planning now can prevent confusion and ensure your family’s well-being.” Garrett added that they are proud to partner with Lake Regional to bring this information to the community.

Space for the workshop is limited. Those interested in attending or seeking more information should contact Trish Creach, executive director of Lake Regional Health Foundation, at 573-348-8376 or tcreach@lakeregional.com.

For those unable to attend the first session, the Estate Planning Workshop will be offered again from 9-10 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
