Families and community members are set to gather at Osage Beach City Park on Saturday, September 6, for the fourth annual Memorial Butterfly Release. The event will begin at 9 a.m. at the Pond Pavilion, located at 950 Hatchery Road.

Lake Regional Hospice is hosting the event, which is open to anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one. Attendees can expect music, poetry readings, moments of reflection, and a remembrance ceremony that will include reading the names of those being honored. A benediction and butterfly release—sponsored by Allee-Holman-Howe—will also be part of the morning's program. Light refreshments will be available.

Many participants plan to bring photographs of their loved ones to share during the gathering.

Reatha Nash will attend in memory of her late husband, Lee Nash, who was cared for by Lake Regional Hospice.
