Jack Funderburk has joined the Board of Directors of the Lake Regional Health Foundation. Funderburk is the senior vice president of commercial and consumer loans at Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks and has lived in the lake area since 2001. He has previously contributed to several community organizations, including Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and the School of the Osage Foundation.

“Community giving is the heartbeat of our Foundation,” said Trish Creach, executive director of Lake Regional Health Foundation. “Jack understands how generosity can transform health care for our neighbors, and we’re excited for the leadership he will provide.”

The Lake Regional Health Foundation works with local donors to support advanced technology, facility improvements, and patient programs. These efforts aim to make high-quality care available to families in the region.

Funderburk’s background in finance and his involvement in community service are expected to benefit the foundation’s activities.

“I’ve seen firsthand the difference Lake Regional makes in people’s lives,” Funderburk said. “It’s an honor to join the Health Foundation in connecting our community’s generosity with projects that improve local health care.”

Funderburk is originally from Medford, Oklahoma. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Southwest Baptist University in 1997 and an MBA in Finance from Missouri State University in 2002. His wife, Amy, works as a registered nurse and house supervisor at Lake Regional Health System. They have three children.

Other members serving on the board include Stacey Coats (Lake Ozark), Trenny Garrett (Camdenton), Dave Leathers (Lake Ozark), Teresa Rector (Lebanon), board chair Diane Schierding (Osage Beach), and Linda Scrivner (Eldon).

Donations to Lake Regional Health Foundation are tax-deductible under its 501(c)(3) status. Contributions can be made as one-time or recurring gifts, including options such as planned giving through stocks, bonds, real estate, retirement assets, or life insurance policies.
