Former Iberia High School standout Zach Voss contributed to Pittsburg State’s 6-2 win over Emporia State in their NCAA Division II baseball contest Saturday, March 7, at 2 p.m.
The matchup was held at Glennen Field and marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. Pittsburg State had fallen to the Hornets 14-2 the previous day, Friday, March 6.
Voss pitched six innings, surrendering two earned runs with two walks and five strikeouts.
The Gorillas are set to face Emporia State again at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at Glennen Field.
