7.7% of Crawford County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Crawford County recorded an unemployment rate of 7.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 748 people out of the 23,204 living in Crawford County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Crawford County has remained fairly stable compared to the 7.7% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Crawford County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 4.5%.

Of the 8,986 people who had a job during that time, 13 were employed in the Armed Forces and 8,973 belonged to the civilian labor force.
