U.S. Congressman Mark Alford (MO-04) released a statement today on the third anniversary of the fall of Kabul and the tragic killing of 13 U.S. service members during the Biden-Harris administration’s withdrawal from Afghanistan.
“Three years ago today, America lost 13 heroic service members in a terrorist bombing at the Kabul Airport, including Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Jared Schmitz of Missouri," said Alford.
“The botched withdrawal from Afghanistan was one of the greatest failures in American history, and Kamala Harris and Joe Biden bear direct responsibility for every second of that disastrous day."

We will never forget their service and sacrifice,” added Congressman Alford.
