We are looking for an LPN to join our team for Dent County. The LPN position is responsible for coordinating and implementing care for patients under the supervision of the health care provider. This position must be able to manage a demanding workload with accuracy. Responsibilities will include rooming patients, taking vitals, recording medical history, reconciling medications, and updating information in the patient’s Electronic Medical Record. Will work closely with patients and provider to enhance patient health. Will assist with any other office duties as asked by the health care provider. Some of these duties may include prior authorizations, medical record scanning, and completing follow up phone calls.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, trade school graduate.
· LPN/Medical Assistant training preferred.
· Able to take vitals and record them into the Electronic Medical Record
· BLS required
· Electronic Medical Record technology preferred.
· Legible handwriting/printing.
· Typing required, previous clerical experience desirable.
· Good Telephone etiquette and communication skills.
· Dependable, responsible, courteous, and tactful.
· Dedication to maintaining confidentiality of all patient records.
